Kurdistan TV is a Kurdish satellite television station based in Iraqi Kurdistan belongs to Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). Its European offices are based in Netherlands and Germany. It broadcasts programmes mainly in Kurdish language and can be viewed using a WS International satellite system. Other languages such as Turkish and Arabic are also used in some programmes. Kurdistan TV began broadcasting in 1999 and it was the first Kurdish satellite station in Iraqi Kurdistan.
